The courage to eat salad.

Every season is salad season. That’s why we wanted to try something different, something new, and decided to go for this amazing aromatic version with a coffee dressing.

This one definitely earned its spot in our standard recipe collection. Are you ready to try it?

You need:

  • An equal amount (about 3.5 oz) of lettuce (e.g. oak leaf or romaine) and corn salad (or baby spinach or purslane)
  • 1 mango
  • 1 orange
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 1 small espresso (0.7 fl oz, cold)
  • Olive oil
  • Curry powder
  • Salt, pepper

How it’s done:

Wash the salad and let it drip off. Peel the mango and dice it. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces. Put everything in a salad bowl and mix carefully (with your hands).

Press the orange and stir the juice together with the espresso (cold!) and the spices. Season to taste and add olive oil if you like (you don’t have to). Drizzle the dressing over the salad. If you like, you can use coconut chips as a topping – but that is also not a must.

Done. Enjoy!
