    One of those days: 6.45 a.m.,<\/em> quickly fired up the portafilter in my pyjamas, brewed a cappuccino, crawled snugly back into bed and slooowly woke up in the morning sun.<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The dog jumps overly excited about my early activities in the bed (which of course, he’s not allowed to do),<\/em><\/strong> the coffee cup flies, the cappuccino takes a loop… And that’s it for the slow morning. The spotless white bed\u2026history. Like red wine, coffee stains are stubborn. But there are a few tricks to get rid of them.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Sparkling water hack. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Sparkling water helps with fresh coffee stains.<\/strong> Just pour it over the stain and remove it with a soft, dry towel. If it was Cappuccino that caused the chaos in the first place, add some soap. With that, you should be fine.<\/em><\/p>

    Plan B: Salt.<\/em><\/strong> As with red wine stains, cover the damp stain generously with salt, leave to work overnight and rinse with warm water. If a shadow remains: put it in the wash.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Coffee stains meet couch?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    There\u2019s a solution for this, too: baking powder.<\/em><\/strong> Sprinkle it on the spot and add warm water. Leave it for at least half an hour and then get the hoover out. Finish with a mixture of washing-up liquid and water. Here weg go. Same goes for carpets etc.<\/em><\/p>

    Then there’s the old stain on Grandma’s evenly old tablecloth.<\/strong> Not nice, such a brownish shade – and covering it with plates and cups doesn’t always work. So, turn to vinegar. Pour 100 ml vinegar plus 100 ml water into a spray bottle. First moisten the stain well with clear water only. Then spray the vinegar water over the entire surface and leave for at least 10 minutes (preferably longer).<\/em> Time to put it in the washing machine \u2013 it\u2019ll be as good as new.<\/p>

    But what about my pillow:<\/strong> I moistened the remains of my cappuccino, rubbed it with gall soap, washed it out with warm water and left the cushion to dry in the sun. It worked well. The washing machine took care of the coffee stains on the bed linen – after a mineral water shower. All good again.<\/em><\/p>

    After what felt like hours, it was finally time for a second shot with my Cappuccino.<\/strong> And the dog? Well, with that look on his adorable little face. Who can be mad about that? (Especially when you can finally drink your favorite coffee.)<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
