Coffee variant, noun: Since coffee is a plant genus, there are numerous coffee variants. The most important are called Coffea arabica or Arabica, Coffea canephora or Robusta and Coffea liberica or Liberica. Economically, the latter is not as important as Arabica or Robusta.
